My Interests
General Interests, Pursuits, and Hobbies:
Voudou and Hoodoo, Photography, talking with the Ancestors, cemetery art, antiques, woodburning art, creating magickal jewelry, shrines, rock collecting, spell collecting, growing herbs in my rock garden, reading, my pet dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and my Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. My husband is a very big supporter of my beliefs and is learning the ways the longer we are together. He says life with me is never boring or dull.
Movies, Films, Documentaries and Shorts:
Love Horror movies (not slasher, real horror movies). Anything with Merle Streep, Sean Connery, Sam Elliott or Clint Eastwood. I also have had an affinity for the old Humphery Bogart films, African Queen being one of my favorites.
Television Shows:
Ghost Hunters, Hauntings, CSI, Discovery Planet, History Channel, and National Geographic Channel.
Musical Performers, Albums, and Artists:
Enya, Janis Joplin, Crosby Stills and Nash (sometimes Young), the Talking Heads, Classical Music, Frank Zappa, Dr. John, Rosco Gordon, Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Robert Johnson, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Buckwheat Zydeco, Industrial Monk, Paul Simon, Simple Minds. Artist wise I have been influenced by Frida Kahlo, Jose Posada, Folk Artists, Mucha, Beardsley, the Art Nouveau period, Erte.

About 3Sisters
Have been studying Voudou and Hoodoo for about 41 years. I became intrigued at the age of 11 when I stumbled across a little book at the library in California. I had never seen anything like it before. It was Robert Pelton's Voodoo Charms and Talismans. I had to order the catalogs from the Company that had been the books publishing firm. They were a quarter back then and you got three different catalogs for that price. They were packed with books, candles, incense, oils, and all sorts of interesting bits. I was drawn to it. I had to learn more.
My daytime profession is a field technician and laboratory assistant. I love chemistry and science. I do not find my religious beliefs in Voudou conflicting with science at all. In fact, the fingernail clippings, hair and other items traditionally used in may spells walk hand in hand with what we know about a persons DNA. It only makes sense that you can influence yourself and/or others with these items pschically and scientifically. Nature is wonderful, NO?
I am happily married to a very understanding man. He says that his life is more interesting and that because of my interests his is never dull. He also goes cemetery visiting with me and helps me find old, rarely visited places where we can let those that have gone before know they aren't forgotten. Honor to his Grandma Crow.
I am devoted to Papa Legba and enjoy His sense of humor and hope I can serve Him well. I also honor Maman Brigette and The Baron, and my Ancestors...May I grow and my work please you!
